The wheelchair at Melwood Grange is crash tested which means residents can travel in a vehicle to hospital appointments or for trips out, whilst staying in the wheelchair.
The donation from Toyota Community Fund underscores the importance of this type of support and recognizes the vital work being done by Wheels for Martin's Friends. This funding will significantly impact the lives of many, ensuring greater accessibility and inclusivity for those who require mobility assistance.
Stella, representing Wheels for Martin, expressed her gratitude, stating, "We are incredibly grateful for the generous support from the Toyota Community Fund. This donation will make a real difference in the lives of so many people in our community. We are thrilled to partner with Toyota in this endeavor and look forward to continuing our work to promote mobility and independence for all."
